Maitri THE MAITRI PROJECT

The Maitri Project · GoFundMe campaigns

Four ways to put compassion into action.

A home to study. A community’s recovery. A child’s education. A woman’s path to scholarship. Choose the work that speaks to you, then give or help its story reach someone new.

Each campaign has a $25,000 USD fundraising goal. The links below open the corresponding GoFundMe fundraiser.

When you share, add one sentence about why the cause matters to you. You do not have to donate to help someone discover this work.

Who organizes these fundraisers?

These are organizer-managed fundraisers created by Edward Sczudlo for The Maitri Project, based in Topanga, California 90290. The project communities are abroad, as described in each campaign. The organizer’s California location is not the project location.

How will donations be used?

Each campaign describes its intended support and the community it serves. The $25,000 goals are contributions toward those needs, rather than promises to complete an entire project. Visit the individual fundraiser for its full story and current donation total.

Can I give directly through Maitri’s website?

Yes. Our embedded Donorbox form offers another way to support Maitri, including monthly giving. GoFundMe donations are completed on GoFundMe; these are separate checkout options.

What if I cannot give right now?

Choose “Share this cause” or “Copy link” on the project you care about. A thoughtful introduction to one interested person can help the story reach a new community.
