Healthcare
Often monasteries and nunneries cannot afford to send their monastics for proper health examinations, checkups and medicine.
We fund health care costs to cover monks and nuns essential medicine, and in some cases life saving treatments.
Education
We support the education costs for monastics and nuns throughout Nepal. This includes the costs of government education like math, science, and grammar along with their traditional education in meditation, ethics, and wisdom.
In addition to basic education we’re actively supporting monks and nuns pursuing their advanced Buddhist education through funding PHD costs.
Housing
Because of a lack of finances monasteries are often struggling to cover the cost of housing, repair, and upgrades. We support nunneries and monasteries throughout Nepal with housing costs to ensure that living conditions are sustained.
Meditation Retreat
Monasteries and Individual monks and nuns often don’t have the resources to support themselves in meditation retreat.
Deep meditation retreat is where the contemplative life comes to fruition through living embodied experience. We support monks and nuns in meditation retreat.
