In 2016, Tibetan nuns earned the Geshema degree for the first time, opening a path to the highest level of Tibetan Buddhist scholarship for women. The journey takes decades; Maitri helps cover housing, healthcare, study, and exam costs so these devoted scholars can complete their training and share their wisdom with future generations.

Gyalrong House will provide 65 rooms for more than 100 monks. Ten apartments are complete, and your support can help finish a dignified home for the next generation.

Donor support helps cover tuition, supplies, and technology; together, we have funded 25 full school years and helped hundreds of children experience their first Vipassana retreat.
